"Blurtso cultivates his garden"
Goodness me! said Blurtso, stepping into his garden. Look at all these tomatoes! I’ll have to give some to my friends! And so he set to work, picking the fruit and loading it in crates, picking and loading and picking and loading, until the sun began to set and he delivered the crates to his friends. Whew! thought Blurtso, I’m glad that’s done.

The next morning he went to admire his work. Goodness me! he said, more tomatoes! And again he began, picking and loading and picking and loading, until the sun set and he delivered the crates to his friends. Whew! he thought, I’m glad that’s done. But the next day there were more tomatoes! And on it went, day after day, tomato after tomato, crate after crate, until one morning Blurtso walked into the garden and there were no more tomatoes. Thank goodness! he thought, looking at the empty vines and thinking about his friends eating all his tomatoes. Oh no! he said, noticing the opening made by the empty vines. Look at all that corn!
